Hey Simon! Thanks for reaching out. Really sorry about this. There isn't a way to restore that data unfortunately. We pop up an 'Undo' button when rows are deleted, but other actions like deleting a column are a bit more difficult to process with such logic. Clay closely resembles a spreadsheet, but since the data comes from 3rd parties, imports or manual inputs, how and when we receive it into a table plays a complex role in that logic.
The reason is that we don’t hold the data; it’s just being “parked” here. So when data is deleted or removed, there’s not much we can do other than calling it back from the provider/re-importing the CSV/manually inputting data.
The team has brought this up and and we’re scoping out ways to improve version history for tables.
Can you share the table this happened in and the type of edits you made? We can look into a way to automate or make that easier to clean up. Really sorry for the inconvenience.
