Hello! when a field fails because the server didn't return a response on time, there is a way to re run the field automatically? Just happened in one of the integrations i have. Smartleads. There was a 504 error and i just had to rerun the column. There is an automatic way of doing it?
Hey there, thanks for reaching out! :) There's actually a run option called "Run all rows that haven't run or have errors" that you can use to specifically run the errored cells. You can find this under the column menu > Run column. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1244229950/bdd16f50b7f9332a7910a7eb1bbc/CleanShot%2B2024-10-25%2Bat%2B07_53_29-402x.png?expires=1731056400&signature=0e2cd1b7c5761cece323194cbf874669ccc7a10dfddd2454014813b2e5b229f9&req=dSIjEst8lIhaWfMW1HO4zfejdN2zfXUL0cWLresrlkJHKE6IOgguZ3pK0rpB%0Aooy%2F%0A Additionally, you could also use filtered views to filter only for the errored cells you would like to run. When you run a column with a filtered view, it only runs the rows that are visible! Let us know if this answers your question and if you need any further assistance!
Hey Daniel! Thank you for the response, but I think I didn't express myself clearly before. My question is: is there a way to rerun the fields with errors automatically, without having to do it manually?
Hey there, sorry about that. Currently, there is no feature in Clay that allows for automatic rerunning of fields when a server error, such as a 504 error, occurs. However, there is a workaround you can implement: create a second Smartlead columns that runs if the first one returns a failed response. This way, if the initial API call fails, the second column can serve as an automatic retry mechanism. Or the approach I outlined above! If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know! ๐ Have a great Friday, Daniel
thank you ! that will work!
have a great day also!
