Hello how can I find Open LinkedIn Profiles through Clay?
I need more help
Hi Tyler, thanks for reaching out. Can you clarify what you mean by Open LinkedIn profiles here?
Accounts that have a paid premium subscription
You should be able to find contacts, and then enrich them to find their LinkedIn profile information with the enrich person from profile integration, as long as those contacts don't have a private profile. In your workspace you can select: "create new" -> "table" -> "find people". Here's a visualization of how to reach the people search input interface, and input specific search parameters, such as the seniority of the people you're looking for: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1137996205/b13604e10df0f81b1f659021/CleanShot+2024-08-07+at+12_59_04.gif?expires=1730833200&signature=846882d90cac8cb5ffa9b4a9dd94a8a01673ddffc24ecd1d093d824c5134c158&req=dSEkEcB3m4NfXPMW1HO4zW%2Fh8fRYLCRkWcxYYlVcBHbYYA%3D%3D%0A Here, you'll be able to set up any other parameters you want to use to narrow down the search to your ICP, and then import the search results to a new table. The next step will be to link the linkedin url in the enrich person from profile integration and retrieve all the data associated to their profile. I hope this was helpful. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know!
I know how to do all of that but how do I narrow in to if they have a free account or paid account
I have an api that enriches profile URLs and tells you whether its a premium profile or free. Tyler C.
Claygent, our AI-powered web scraping agent, is the ideal tool for this use case in Clay. Simply prompt Claygent to search for the 'premium' badge, and it will return a true or false result based on its presence. Here's a video showing you how to use Claygent at its full potential: https://www.clay.com/university/lesson/claygent-ai-web-scraper-clay-101
Okay I already tried do you have an exact prompt example that you could share for this
Do you mind sending the link to the table you tried setting this up in so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1730835000&signature=5c5858de80ea330ee950838533870ecfbce761883e9d1409b30fb58720d5b13a&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSv0BZIW2BKsam%2FhVPsrXw%3D%3D%0A
I recorded this video to show you an approach that would work for this specific use case: https://www.loom.com/share/f248013c6de3445a9da640f583928bd6?sid=06045983-4fb5-46b1-a0e0-8b057f15b93a I hope this was helpful. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know!
Hey there - just wanted to check in here to see if you needed anything else! Feel free to reply back here if you do.

Do you mind sending the link to the table so we can take a look at your setup here? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1731008700&signature=ea5732245cd5ed67e852bc277349c498a3fb288fe638c22e43080b3a26251095&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSr8Bp8R2BKsam%2FhVPuX3w%3D%3D%0A
Thanks
I beleive its the exact same
Looking into the correct setup you have here, this approach may not guarantee 100% reliability. For a more robust but riskier alternative, I recommend using an Apify actor. For instance, I found an actorthat retrieves account types; however, it requires using your LinkedIn cookies, which poses a significant risk of your account being banned by LinkedIn. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1243650721/55ad94c716219d7174205889bdb0/CleanShot%2B2024-11-07%2Bat%2B14_17_55-402x.png?expires=1731008700&signature=4b8f0f6f07056fde848dad9a7ddcfb8ae396788ece338a5be8355aee5f0e995f&req=dSIjFc97nYZdWPMW1HO4zfqe5wVZGKOokoC9r0koA7l5eEZHglBhTF9BytdV%0ALRFF%0A Apify integrates with Clay, so you'll be able to build tables based on Apify actor runs, or trigger actor runs at strategic points in your workflow. Here's how you can set up a Clay table from an Apify actor run: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1136960340/97e4e0aa1500879dbbe57ea0/CleanShot+2024-08-06+at+15_48_57.gif?expires=1731008700&signature=9d997df32253507767ad8a9c7638c2bc9c63a065916c2e26ab57a88e7d741f33&req=dSEkEMB4nYJbWfMW1HO4zejWawnd6n8AAut9xPamiwCphA%3D%3D%0A And here's how you can trigger an Apify actor in an active workflow: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1137852576/18ba4740bed56137b073908c/CleanShot+2024-08-07+at+11_15_01.gif?expires=1731008700&signature=53e8dd39015a34223d2f18eadb00cf50df0fe121e341a241417f68423fc521b5&req=dSEkEcF7n4RYX%2FMW1HO4ze%2BfS2irT%2F%2BR98ZbnAjuOC%2FCNw%3D%3D%0A For the trigger-based approach you'll likely have to study the documentation of the specific actor, to see what JSON payload it expects to trigger the run.
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
