what does “Awaiting callback” mean? It’s been stuck there for a while. Why did the number in parentheses break order? I deleted all columns and re-ran without that provider where it stalled. It says none found for row 10 even though it looks like there is an email. Why is that?
These issues are likely due to loading delays or processing errors. Here's how to address them: 1. For the "Awaiting callback" status: Try refreshing your browser (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R). If that doesn't work, toggle the auto-update off and on again for the affected column. 2. For out-of-order numbers and "none found" messages: These are often caused by loading delays in larger tables. Give it some time to update fully. 3. If problems persist, try these steps: • Right-click the column and select "Run All Rows that haven't run or have errors" • Create a new column by duplicating the current one and run it on the empty rows • Use the "merge columns" feature to combine the results If you need further assistance, request human help by clicking "Talk to a person".

Hey, Some providers take longer to return data because of how their systems work—so when you see “Awaiting callback,” it means we’ve sent the request and are waiting for their response. That’s normal for more complex lookups. As for the number in parentheses breaking order, that can happen when results come back at different speeds. If row 10 says “none found - Can you do this for me: 1. Show All Rows: Follow the steps shown in the screenshot to display all rows. 2. Check Email Validity: Look for the hidden validation column to see if the found emails are valid or not. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1472851536/fb678c3f7fdad36df5f38d006ceb/5bf2f16f-ab75-45d8-a79f-951583260b89?expires=1744488000&signature=b53170afb33735c878454ed5634eb8d42585916a35fb1a8100004bb5d8993c1c&req=dSQgFMF7nIRcX%2FMW1HO4zU85PCaKfajwdd2oQYvf0IHnJMWSbHAFfPEAUnwl%0AzWJy%0A
As you might have noticed, some emails are deemed invalid. Here’s a recap of how our waterfall process works: • Inquiry: When we need to find an email, we ask our providers if they have information on a particular contact. • Response: If they have the details, they send them to us. If not, they send nothing. • Cost: Each successful inquiry costs credits, and we can’t predict what they’ll provide until we receive it. • Validation: We then pass this information to a validation tool that also cost credits and to keep tables clean, validation columns are automatically hidden. If an email is invalid, the next email finder tries to find a new one. However, if it finds the same email as before, it won’t re-validate it since it has already been checked and it won't return it in the final column. The last row is still not showing the email in the work email column even though the email was found by 2 providers. Also why did not stop the waterfall after the first provider found the email? https://app.clay.com/workspaces/283560/workbooks/wb_2XtnQU2tR9sE/tables/t_nDdwdaFeFnEv/views/gv_JzkAmUR8gwts
I’m doing this for 🔒[private feed] so I want to make sure when I submit the assignment I don’t get disqualified
Hey, The reason the waterfall didn’t stop is that earlier enrichments either didn’t return an email or returned one that was marked as invalid. If you unhide the row, you’ll see the validation step—it confirms that while some info was found on the person, a valid email wasn’t. That’s why the Work Email column stayed empty, even though two providers were triggered. Let me know if you want help tweaking the logic to handle this better.
