Converting CSV Data to New Database Entries: A How-To Guide

·
·

Question about converting a CSV of values in a field to entries in a new database. I’ve used Claygent to scrape the website of VC companies and return their name and website URL as a csv string in 2 separate columns. I’m looking for a way to convert the csv string of names and website URLs to be new rows in a new page of the database. Anyone know how I can best go about this?

Hi Kyle, thanks for reaching out. I suggest separating the outputs of your Claygent columns using distinct separators. This will allow the results to be recognized as individual properties in your chosen database. Would parsing the Claygent results into separate columns and then exporting them to a CSV format work for your database? In other words, does distinguishing the columns align with the requirements of your database? I hope this was helpful. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know!
