Recovering 4000 Credits After Workbook Duplication Error

Hi! I accidentally burned 4000 credits by duplicating a workbook with auto-run tables... Is there some way to revert this?

Unfortunately, once credits have been spent on enrichments, they cannot be reverted or recovered. To prevent this from happening in the future, here are some best practices: 1. Always turn off auto-update while building or duplicating tables. You can do this by: β€’ Clicking the three dots next to your table name β€’ Selecting "Auto-Update Columns" β€’ Toggling it off 2. Before running any enrichments on a new table, test them on a few rows first to ensure everything is set up correctly. You can check the credit spend for specific columns by right-clicking on a column and selecting "Run Info" to see a summary of credits spent on that column.

Yeah, I get that. It's totally my fault. But I feel for future user experience it would be great if a prompt would appear, when duplicating workbooks/tables, warning that there are auto-run tables enabled and that it would cause "X" amount of credit usage.

Potentially also auto-disabling any auto-run columns.

Hi Dante, thank you for reaching out. I believe the reason this might be happening is because you have "auto-update" on. This causes all the rows to be re-run when a new search is executed on the table. In order to remove this, you should select the autoupdate button, as shown below:

    (512 kB)

After selecting this button, the following menu should pop up:

    (72 kB)

You should then select "Turn off table" to stop the table from auto-updating. I will make sure to refund your 4000 credits for this time, as I understand it was an honest mistake. However, please know this is something we cannot do often and in future we might not be able to accomodate your request. Let me know if this solves your issue!

Yes, you're totally right. It's just unfortunate, that it happened by accident. Is there any way to revert and get back the credits?
