How it is possible that i went from 2700 credits suddenly to 0 without running any tables or enrichments? Help me out please
One common reason for unexpected credit depletion is auto-update settings. Even if you haven't manually run any tables or enrichments, auto-update can automatically enrich new rows added to your tables. To check and prevent this: 1. Look for any tables with auto-update enabled 2. Turn off auto-update by clicking the three dots next to your table name and selecting "Auto-Update Columns" 3. For individual columns, you can check their "Run Settings" and toggle off the Auto-Update buttonAdditionally, when importing new lists, be careful not to auto-add enrichments during the import process, as this can quickly consume credits. To prevent future unintended credit usage, you can: ** Test enrichments on a few rows before updating entire tables ** Turn off auto-update at the table level * Check the "Run Info" on columns to see credit usage details Sources: Guide: Ways to save Clay credits | Documentation | Clay University Find Companies [Clay 101] - Clay University

Over the last week or so, most credit usage happened yesterday (~1300 credits). Monday, Tuesday, and today have used a few hundred each, totaling another ~1300. The biggest consumers by table are... 754 credits https://app.clay.com/workspaces/460627/tables/t_oCtRXgRWx9XV 610 https://app.clay.com/workspaces/460627/tables/t_xkjkRc2wnATY 477 https://app.clay.com/workspaces/460627/tables/t_79V9vkPebthx 464 https://app.clay.com/workspaces/460627/tables/t_yj888dJTbinW 385 https://app.clay.com/workspaces/460627/tables/t_AQiynuEbGFpj So no single culprit by table or enrichment, rather a cumulative effect. If I can offer one suggestion, consider disabling the "auto-update" setting on the tables. When enabled, all columns run when new rows are added. https://www.clay.com/university/guide/table-management-settings#auto-update Disabling is a good option if you're still experimenting and finalizing your workflows.
iβm fine with 1300 credits yesterday being used. this morning i had 2700 credits and did not run any enrichments, nor do i see any major updates in any of my tables. can you look into this further, and see what ate up 2700 credits?
This table has 17k+ new records today. https://app.clay.com/workspaces/460627/tables/t_RWMmgs8W6UpQ/views/gv_j8o865ABepVv A couple thousand of those rows used the 1-credit "Enrich LI Profile" enrichment (presumably upon initial search/import). Was that not the intention?
unfortunately no that was not the intention. this table (and the people search) ended up being very low quality and was never supposed to actually run
Gotcha, thanks. Feel free to delete that table entirely, or disable auto-update there and on any others where you might expect new rows and want to avoid surprise cost. I added 2100 back to your account to account for that one. You should see that ~immediately.
i appreciate that mark. thx!
You bet! Appreciate you letting us know so we could help out. I think that takes care of the needs for the moment, so I'll tentatively mark this closed for now. Please keep in touch if you hit other roadblocks!
