Current Meta for Monitoring Companies + Clients using Clay

What is the current meta for monitoring companies + clients using Clay? There is lots of help on individual triggers and tables but not much on the macro plays. My current approach is to split every client into five tables:

  1. 1.

Individuals (prospects that fit within the ICP, actively monitoring-finding a data point to start sequences)

  2. 2.

Individuals in the sales pipeline (post discovery meetings etc, monitoring for updates)

  3. 3.

Companies we are targeting. Monitoring with integrations for jobs, news, changes etc. that could result in challenges that we can solve for.

  4. 4.

New targets: Companies (HELP!!) I believe the best approach is Google Alerts/Meltwater for potential keyword/boolean/fuzzy matches that pushes them into my #3 list.

  5. 5.

    Sync for outreach

I am looking chat shop on a call / share insights on: #4 how you leverage traditional media monitoring product like Meltwater/Google alerts and push this into Clay. Right now RSS feeds from niche publishers with an OpenAI GPT prompt returns determines what is sync’d with Clay, I use AirTable & GCP to do this. Some may use Zapier for an easier set up but AirTable is cheaper. #2 when someone books a meeting is the best approach Google Calendar API (zapier for some) to push “booked meetings” into my sales pipeline monitoring list. QUESTION: how can you handle the logic aspect to remove a lead from #1 prospecting individuals and move it to #2 automatically? I some what believe a virtual assistant is the best approach here. 3:30pm PT, Jan 8th Id be keen for a chin wag, war stories chat if anyone is keen?

Hey Charles, thanks for reaching out! Let's see if others can share their experience as well. I've seen a few people have separate workspaces for each client so it's easier to keep control and access for each one. While you can't auto-remove leads from tables, as soon as you receive a trigger depending on how you're monitoring, you can use our Write to table integration to push the lead to the other table and you can have a column auto-check after this as an indicator that the lead is completed, here's a quick video (not exactly this example but how it works): https://www.loom.com/share/841cc9c009194f1688bbd134b3e4f388

Hey, Charles, would be happy to jump on a call sometime and try to explore some options and solutions to see what would be the best way to monitor companies and clients 🙂. DM'd you!

+1 to what Arturo O. said! There is no way to programatically remove people from a Clay table, but what I would do is add a checkbox and a formula maybe to filter those people out!
