Hi hoping for help with this exact same issue, looking to update a multi-checkbox company property in HubSpot via the Update Object HubSpot enrichment. The thread was broken so I can't see the resolution. I've tried Ignore blank values as true or false. I've tried entering the property IDs with a comma. Please advise. https://clayrunhq.slack.com/archives/C025KSBLPGX/p1735916294090779
Help Needed: Updating Multi-Checkbox Company Property in HubSpot | Clay
To update a multi-checkbox company property in HubSpot using the Update Object HubSpot enrichment:
1. Select the HubSpot account you want to use.
2. Choose "Company" as the Object Type to update.
3. Enter the HubSpot Object ID for the company you're updating.
4. For "Ignore Blank Values":
• Set to "True" to prevent overwriting existing values with blanks.
• Set to "False" if you want blank values to overwrite existing data.
5. Map the multi-checkbox field from your Clay table to the corresponding HubSpot property.
6. For property IDs, enter them as a comma-separated list in the mapped field.
Remember to ensure your data types and formats align with HubSpot's requirements. If you need further assistance, please request human support by clicking "Talk to a person".
I tried running this in separate columns with "Ignore blank values" set to True and it still overwrites what was there previously. Both columns do work independently, however.
Hey Harris - I just checked that thread on our backend - we actually don't currently support multi-checkboxes in Clay. The only option we have is a select column where you can select a single option. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news here, but let me know if I can maybe help you set this up another way.
It's a bit of a pain to do through manual imports as well which i just tried a few moments ago so i'm going to have to think about this. there may be a better way of doing it via workflows but i still need to do a one-time import/catchup
Sorry about that - let me know if we can help unblock you here. Totally get the multi-select would be helpful and ill make sure to relay it to our product team as well!
i'm not sure what else to do about it to be honest, i really appreciate the help and a multi-select is definitely the property type i should be using... it just doesn't seem to be very easy to work with
