Hey everyone, has someone experience scrapping LI profiles and in particulair the certification section? Atm, I'm using leadmagic but unfortuantly the certifications are not included.
You can use our Chrome Extension to scrape LinkedIn profile data, including certifications. Here's how: 1. Install the Clay Chrome Extension from the Chrome Web Store. 2. Once installed, you can use our template to search and scrape LinkedIn profiles at scale: • Copy our template • Input the names and company information • Customize which LinkedIn data fields you want to import (including certifications)This method will allow you to gather comprehensive profile information beyond what LeadMagic currently provides. Followed all steps you mentioned, this is the result: The Clay Chrome extension is not available on LinkedIn Try other data sources in Clay to help you build your lists.
Based on your description, it's important to note that Clay actually has two different Chrome extensions. One is for general website scraping, and another is specifically designed to help pull leads from websites into Clay with automatic enrichment and CRM integration. If you're seeing a message that the extension isn't available on LinkedIn, this could mean you're trying to use the general website scraping extension in a way that isn't supported for LinkedIn specifically. For gathering LinkedIn data, you may want to try these alternative approaches: 1. Use our data enrichment features within Clay 2. Import your LinkedIn leads through our CRM integration 3. Try using our other Chrome extension specifically designed for lead captureWould you like me to explain any of these alternative methods in more detail? Source: FAQ | Clay.com

Hey Marouane, thanks for reaching out. Which chrome extension are you trying to use? Follow up, which LinkedIn page were you hoping to use this extension on?
Thanks for the hand out Owen! I used the CLAY chrome extentsion as the AI suggest. The goal is to scrape person's LI data. Currently I'm doing it via Leadmagic. The issue is that the certification section is missing. Since I'm in the recruitment space its sometimes critical to assess certifications
I have to go know, if you have a solution please feel free to share 🙂
Got it, wondering if using our "Enrich Person from Profile" would help out here. Do you have a list of LinkedIn URL's that you're currently going through? Or what does this full process look like for you right now? Our "enrich person from profile" enrichment will use someones LinkedIn URL to pull the data you're looking for in this case. Also, do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a closer look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1347419411/65baf32e1d2a789ffba395c6d35c/CleanShot+2025-01-22+at+_42I1FzxXHf%402x.png?expires=1738956600&signature=06eec845c6a032f92e9b7e705663148eece5082460f0340f0590daacc8e9ec41&req=dSMjEc1%2FlIVeWPMW1HO4zVws4pk%2BCFKugvYjA82bedA3lQ%3D%3D%0A
