hi all, i uploaded 60 contacts details, and even after using 5 platform (findyemail, find work email etc) to find work emails, it only found the emails for 4 contacts. additionally, the tool keeps giving random errors such as time out or runtime . please need urgent assistance!
tried another provider "snov". it charged 2 credits per run and did not even validate. after i ran validation on its emails, 0 of the contacts were validated. i wasted 3 credits per run for 0 results..
Thank you for reaching out, I'll take a look!
I see now, QQ, did you toggle 'on' the safe to send only setting? Was able to check them and looks like it's on, and that would be why the results are lower because Debounce determined that some/many of those emails are considered "risky" by them so they're not added to the final result.Unfortunately, this depends on those data providers and what they have available, so they're non-risky or non-catch-all email coverage doesn't seem great but you are getting safe emails only if that's what you're aiming for.
Otherwise, you can toggle that option off in future runs so it still keeps potentially risky but also valid emails. Hope this helps! Added a few credits back in :)
hey arturo, thanks for the response. yes, i have toggled it on, as otherwise, the bounce rate is high, which makes the domain health very low. what are the alternatives to this? currently, if im getting only 6% safe to send emails, the tool is really not helpful ๐
Hey Kriti, sorry about that! Unfortunately, these are the data providers we currently integrate with but you could always test out others you may be testing via HTTP API inside of Clay, if needed. Since we don't control these provider's data, we also depend on what they have available at the time. Also looks like it's not exclusively an issue for these alone but even bigger email and data providers like Apollo or ZoomInfo struggle with valid emails from time to time.
The advantage of having that setting turned on is that it will return valid emails only but I do understand what you mean that the vast majority aren't considered valid :/
