Transferring Clay Workflows and Data to Another Account
Are we able to transfer workbooks/ tables with all the data to another account? I have a customer who wants to transfer all our clay workflows along with the data to there clay account.
There are a few ways to share and transfer your Clay workbooks and tables: 1. For workbook sharing: ā¢ Go to the workbook title in the top bar ā¢ Click "Turn on sharing" ā¢ You can then either: ā¢ Copy the public link to share with anyone ā¢ Enter specific email addresses to share with selected recipients 2. For tables, you can share them as templates: ā¢ Click the "Actions" button ā¢ Select "Share as template" ā¢ Click "Turn on sharing" ā¢ Copy the public link to share ā¢ Note: When sharing as a template, only the table structure and 1 row of sample data will be shared 3. For the actual data transfer between tables: ā¢ Use the "Write to Table" integration to map and transfer data between tables ā¢ Only the table structure is copied when duplicating - you'll need to explicitly transfer the data using the Write to Table integrationNote that shared workbooks have a limit of 5 tables per workbook. The recipient will need to copy the shared templates to their workspace and then use the Write to Table integration to populate the data.
