how can I add data from the clay chrome extension to an existing table when I scrape a website? currently when I click on "add to workspace" it automatically creates a new workspace, I want to add the data to an existing workspace
To add scraped data to an existing table instead of creating a new one: 1. Open the Clay Chrome Extension on the webpage you want to scrape 2. Use either the auto-detected lists or create a custom recipe via "Select Data" 3. After selecting your data, you'll see a preview in tabular format 4. Click "Add to Workspace" which will open a new tab with your scraped data 5. From there, you can add this data to your existing workspace/table The extension will show your data in a ready-made table that you can then incorporate into your existing workspace.
no when i click add to workspace it automatically creates a new table
Hi Maxim, thank you for reaching out! When using the Chrome Extension on clicking 'Add to Workspace' it will create a new table in your workspace. Then you can use 'Write to Other Table' to send it to the table you want it add it to.
