I am wondering what happened to my sheet. I was very deep into an enrichment project. I first enriched mobiles, then I pulled any data I could find from those enrichments to help enrich emails. Had to step away for a couple of days and when I came back my email column was empty and it looks like my waterfall someone how got attached to my original email column and overwrote the whole column with the 83 rows I ran, but then blanked out all of the other rows. https://app.clay.com/workspaces/327512/workbooks/wb_3i5HhiNBw953/tables/t_YpKkSHw87Wa3/views/gv_H62pSvNTwsbY
Hi Micah! It sounds like your email column may have been hidden by a view setting, which can sometimes change how data appears. I recommend checking to see if any view filters or configurations that were previously applied that might be hiding the information in that column. Here’s a helpful article on views in Clay that explains how they work: Clay Views Guide. You can also check by clicking on the column header > run info to see how many credits did this column used
The filters and sorts were all removed.
There was existing imported data that is now gone
If filters were applied and then removed, this could cause data gaps, as any filtered data might won't run automatically. This might explain the missing imported data you’re seeing.
I dont think I am explaining myself well.
I believe I tried to pull data from a waterfall colum and instead of pushing it to a new field I pushed it to an existing column which caused it to completely overwrite it, both the fields I enrich and also the fields that werent even in line to be run.
Understood. Unfortunately, it’s not possible... Let us know if you need more help or if there’s anything else we can assist with.
Yes, you can use the lookup function to match email addresses from another sheet and rewrite the erased ones. Here’s a quick video guide on how to set it up: Lookup Function Guide. Let us know if you need any more help!
Thank you
