I've heard of folks pre-qualifying leads in clay. How exactly is it done? Do you gather a list, then pull in data from different sources, and finally use AI to analyze if they're a good fit?
Hey, thanks for reaching out! That's a great question, let's see if anyone can share what they keep in mind for this. I do think it depends on what you need as a starting qualifier though, and if a data provider can get that for you or if you'd need to infer some with AI as you say. I have seen that on occasions.
Depends on what you're qualifying by. Can be - time in role

If you're looking to qualify based on something present on their website, the easiest would be to either use a scraper to get the webpage and then run chatgpt prompt on it or even easier to enable a claygent. Typically the workflow is to use ChatGPT with inputs on your qualification criteria on data that you want to qualify. So if I consider qualified leads that have X mentioned on their website, I'd run a claygent and have it return something like true or false depending on if it finds X mentioned. If you're doing it off company description you can do the same but use the AI instead
