Troubleshooting Clay to Google Sheets Integration Errors

·
·

I can't seem to make my clay to google sheets integration work, I think it has something to do with the lookup https://app.clay.com/workspaces/427003/workbooks/wb_3jTM2riNXVtc/tables/t_VEvRb4zh3QYe/views/gv_9hxZd2G7oj47 I am doing a basic data push to a sheet that has just about all the columns from clay going into simple rows so that a BDR can fill in their notes as they go through the contacts. But I keep getting an error and I think it has to do with the Lookup flields I'm selecting. The information icon doesn't show any really useful data to guide me here.

For a successful Google Sheets lookup integration, follow these key steps: 1. Ensure you have the correct access level: • For lookups, you need at least read access to the sheet • For data pushing with updates, you need edit access 2. Check your setup configuration: • Verify you've selected the correct Google Sheets account • Confirm your Google Spreadsheet URL is valid • Make sure you've specified the correct Sheet ID • Double-check your Lookup Column selection and Lookup Value match exactly with your sheet 3. For data pushing with lookups: • Enable "Add a row if no existing rows are found" if you want new entries created • Enable "Update row(s) if existing rows are found" if you want to modify existing matchesIf you continue experiencing issues after verifying these settings, please request human support to help diagnose the specific error you're encountering. When setting up a Google Sheets lookup in Clay, here's how to ensure proper column and value matching: 1. For the Lookup Column: • Select the specific column in your Google Sheet where you want to search for matches • This is the column that will be used as the reference point for finding data 2. For the Lookup Value: • Choose the value from your Clay table that you want to find in the Google Sheet • This value needs to match exactly with what's in your specified lookup columnFor example: ** If your Google Sheet has a column named "Email" ** And you want to find matching records based on email addresses * You would: a. Select "Email" as your Lookup Column b. Choose the email field from your Clay table as the Lookup ValueNote: Make sure you have at least read access to the Google Sheet you're trying to look up data from. You have two options to move your data from Clay to Google Sheets: 1. Using the CSV Export method: • Navigate to the 'Actions' menu • Click 'Export' and select 'Download CSV' • Once downloaded, you can import the CSV file directly into Google Sheets 2. Using the Google Sheets integration: • Click "Add Enrichment" • Search for "Google Sheets" • Select the "Add Row" action • Paste your Google Sheets URL • Select the sheet name • Map your Clay columns to the corresponding Google Sheets columns using "/" • Click "Save"Note: For the Google Sheets integration, make sure your selected Google account has write access to the sheet you want to add data to. No, that's not what I need. I don't need a CSV export. I want to get data from individual rows over to the Google sheet

To move data from individual rows in your Clay table to Google Sheets, here's how to use the Add Row action: 1. Set up the integration: • Click "Add Enrichment" • Search for "Google Sheets" • Select the "Add Row" action 2. Configure the connection: • Paste your Google Spreadsheet URL • Select the sheet name • Map your Clay columns by typing "/" and selecting the corresponding columns you want to transfer • Click "Save"Note: Make sure your Google account has write access to the sheet you want to add data to. By default, new rows within your Clay table will automatically add to your sheet with auto-update enabled.
