At the beginning of today we had a 4700 balance. Our account re-upd today. And now its saying we are going to lose the 4700 if we dont use by end of today.
This is likely related to our credit rollover policy. Credits can accumulate and roll over, but they are capped at 2x your monthly credit limit based on your current plan. For example, if your plan provides 2,500 credits per month, the maximum balance you can maintain is 5,000 credits. Any credits above this cap would need to be used before your next billing cycle to avoid losing them.If you need to maintain a higher credit balance, you have two options:1. Use the credits before they expire 2. Upgrade to a higher tier plan which would allow for a higher credit cap Sources: Clay Credits Overview - Clay University How can I get more credits if I run out? - FAQ | Clay.com
this doesnt make sense though. These credits are from the previous month, not 2 months ago
previous month meaning yesterday.
Credits from the previous month are not at risk of expiring if they are within the rollover period. For monthly subscriptions, unused credits roll over and accumulate in your account for up to 2 months, with a cap at 2x your monthly credit limit according to your plan. For example, if you're on a pro plan with 50,000 credits per month, you can accumulate up to 100,000 credits. If you're on an annual plan, this is even simpler - you receive all your credits upfront and can use them however and whenever you'd like throughout the year. There seems to be a misunderstanding. You won't immediately lose your credits. Here's how credit rollovers actually work:If you have a monthly subscription, unused credits roll over and accumulate in your account up to 2x your plan's monthly credit limit. The only time your credit balance would be affected is:1. When you cancel or downgrade your plan - in this case, credits stay in your account until the end of your billing cycle 2. When your billing cycle refreshes - credits are then capped at 2x your plan's monthly limitIf you're being told something different, please share more details about your specific situation so we can help clarify or address any potential issues.
