Is there any way to check multiple rows I have this checkbox as a precursor to other actions but not seeing a way to check many rows at once?
Yes! You can select multiple rows in your table and perform actions on them. To do this, simply select the rows you want to work with, then either right-click on the selected rows or click "row actions" in the top right of your table. This feature allows you to run actions specifically on your selected rows. Source: New at Clay | Clay.com
Run rows doesn't work to check boxes
Looks like you're still looking for help. We're escalating this over to our support team and someone should be in touch soon. In the meantime, feel free to include any other information that may be helpful in solving your issue!
hope this helps. click one row to select ; hold shift click the last row to which you want to select. Done ๐
Hi Aaron, thank you for reaching out. What is shown above is indeed correct if you want to run a certain number of rows. Let me know if there is anything else you need!
Hey thanks for the help but I'm still having issues. The above behaviour works but only for the 1st default row The row I have here Run results doesn't allow for this - in this video I'm holding shift between clicks
Hi Aaron, are you trying to run rows based on their number, or are you looking to filter them based on a specific condition?
Hi Aaron, is there a specific condition you're trying to check that would trigger these marks to be selected? For example, do you want only rows containing a certain value to be checked, or should all rows be checked? Apologies for the follow-up questionsโweโll have a solution for you soon!
All good, appreciate your help. I would just like them to all be checked
For full context, I have other columns that are set to only run if this checkbox is checked. I'm ready for them to run now, so I just want to check them to start that process
Aaron - Do you mind sending the link to the table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1734111900&signature=dce191f836e16c676776369b43faf82f6423f9ea288a6d9dffc961e6b09a8457&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywS%2F9B5Yf2BKsam%2FhVPuYiw%3D%3D%0A

Here is what I would do for this case. As you want all rows to run, I suggest you remove the following "Only run if". https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1296684117/01c7404df43d49a51dcfb6d11644/CleanShot+2024-12-13+at+12_16_12%402x.png?expires=1734111900&signature=137eae103b4a5fca0ad6aef0b9a92f7a17cef979a47d47824f7d97a75a89e24c&req=dSIuEM92mYBeXvMW1HO4zZ6QBKo0H9lHJbWb%2Fyx2IyIc6fEjmonXfOce%2BKjs%0AP5tw%0A Then, hit "Save">"Save and don't run". After this, select on that column "Run all rows that haven't run or have errors". https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1296685521/7ff44eabfb1ef472e3e874c7998d/CleanShot+2024-12-13+at+12_17_19%402x.png?expires=1734111900&signature=abe09a90da3a72b5f6aa2c19926d20145606f8a6715c87cf03e766b56cd05804&req=dSIuEM92mIRdWPMW1HO4zbcSqF%2Bf4%2FamxwCXnIUJW3nmdR6kUV6n%2F6%2BkFmpe%0AQk3l%0A This would make your enrichment run without having to use complicated formulas to get all the boxes to be ticked. Let me know if this helps!
Got it โ ok I can do that. I've had it before where a large column like this runs automatically (or maybe not automatically but I've jsut done something wrong) and I've used up all my credits which is why I added this extra step in the first place. Is there a better way to ensure this doesn't happen? Also maybe a feature request is that every time you're about to spend over x% of your credits on an action you get a confirmation dialogue?
The best way to save credits is by ensuring your auto-update button is off. I believe the reason this might be happening is because you have "auto-update" on. This causes all the rows to be re-run when a new search is executed on the table. In order to remove this, you should select the autoupdate button, as shown below: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1250630533/1c7b6f98b01e637f4244bc8d3458/CleanShot-2B2024-11-13-2Bat-2B12_10_01-402x.png?expires=1734111900&signature=f8010a874213244a52529e9f91e6041cddadc38ab400c99828b1b7ea470fa720&req=dSIiFs99nYRcWvMW1HO4zdWsO6gyiIwf%2B83l6OuP%2Bi%2FFbg%3D%3D%0A After selecting this button, the following menu should pop up: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1250630529/fc0f08b652e0b860c1c928a78a97/CleanShot-2B2024-11-13-2Bat-2B12_11_20-402x.png?expires=1734111900&signature=866657c6a71091be66d4487f2a3d6b025edc7f1c7aee7bdd8135eabab91f3ba8&req=dSIiFs99nYRdUPMW1HO4zaMj7fdo4tRonahTETfkol2mTA%3D%3D%0A You should then select "Turn off table" to stop the table from auto-updating. Let me know if this solves your issue!
Got it thanks for your help!
