After exporting data from clay to sheets successfully, I am now struggling to update a row based on new information I found. I found out the company size row missed data and I added that. Now that needs to be updated in google sheets and I seem to be doing something wrong. Can someone look over my shoulder? To update a row in Google Sheets with new information from your Clay table, you can use the Lookup, Add, or Update Row
action. Here's how:
1. Add a new enrichment in your Clay table.
2. Search for "Google Sheets" and select the Lookup, Add, or Update Row
action.
3. Paste your Google Sheets URL.
4. Choose the sheet and the column to use for looking up the row.
5. Map the Clay columns to the corresponding Google Sheets columns.
6. Enable the "Update row(s) if existing rows are found" option.
7. Save and run the enrichment.
This action will search for the specified row and update it with the new information from your Clay table.
Yeah so I did that. But in some way I am doing it wrong. It is telling me it is finding a lot of rows, but it is not updating it. Or the size. I am probably messing something up in the settings. of the export column
To correctly update a specific row in Google Sheets from your Clay table: 1. Use the "Lookup, Add, or Update Row" action. 2. Specify a unique identifier in the "Lookup Column" (e.g., company name or ID). 3. Set the "Lookup Value" to match the corresponding value in your Clay table. 4. Enable "Update row(s) if existing rows are found". 5. Map Clay columns to Google Sheets columns for updating. Ensure your lookup value is unique to avoid updating multiple rows. If you're still having issues, double-check your column mappings and lookup value. If you need further assistance, consider requesting human help by clicking "Talk to a person".

Hi Jesse, thank you for reaching out! I'd recommend using 'Name' column for the lookup function within the configuration and then run the enrichment, this should fix the issue.
Could you try that, and let me know how it goes?
