Understanding Pro Rated Fees for Plan Upgrades

if i opt for clay’s explorer plan on the 1st of the month and want to move to the pro plan on the 15th of the month then do i pay a pro rated fee for the pro plan for the remaining 15 days of the month?

No, upgrades aren't prorated. You'd pay the full Pro plan amount when upgrading on the 15th. Your billing cycle resets immediately, giving you a fresh month to use the Pro plan credits, and your unused Explorer credits roll over on top of your new Pro credits. [1] [2]
We're looking into adding prorated billing for upgrades in the future.
