LinkedIn Profile Enrichment with Clay: Using Credits, Splitting Multiple People, and Free Data Sources.

  1. 1.

Are credits used for previous linkedin profiles enriched using Clay? And if so, is it only applicable if you try to enrich within the same table?

  2. 2.

When more than 1 person is found using the apollo find people, how do you split each person to a separate column?

  3. 3.

Is there a list of free enrichment data sources for clay somewhere?

No, you get charged for each enriched profile, no matter if you have enriched that same profile before or not. The table also doesn't matter - if you try to enrich the same person/company in 10 different rows, it will still cost you 10 credits.

    2. 2.

Use the "Write To Other Table" function on the list of people.

    3. 3.

https://www.clay.com/integrations -> use the Integration Type filter and set it to free. Keep in mind that if there's a key sign next to "free", it means that the enrichment isn't actually free and you have to provide your own API key.

OK thanks stefan, regards to being charged for duplicate rows of data enrichment, is there anything that you know of that I can set up in clay to avoid this happening?

You can replicate the enrichments that you already run alt zero cost by running the write to table function: Write to table integration to extract a list of results into their own rows in a new table, here's a quick video: https://www.loom.com/share/841cc9c009194f1688bbd134b3e4f388

Thanks Juan P. but I'm struggling with getting the imported jobs data and company data over to the next table - this write to function example is only to get the data for the people records found on apollo written over....

Hey Nick S., if I understood correctly, you're table looks something like this: ... (other columns) | Some Jobs Data Enrichment | Apollo Find People Enrichment Let's say Apollo finds 10 people, I guess what you're trying to do is copy the Jobs Data Enrichment column for all 10 people in the next table. This is completely doable using the Write to Other Table. Check out the video provided above or feel free to DM me here and I can help you.
