I’m trying to save a group as a template but I’m getting a field with a display name I don’t recognize. Is this a bug or is there anyway to address this?
That cryptic field name "f_0t64yjfdRUuwDJ643VU" isn't a bug - it's likely an internal field identifier that Clay generates when columns don't have clear display names. [1]
You can fix this by updating the "Display name" field in that template creation dialog to something more descriptive that your team will recognize. This follows our best practice of using clear, human-readable names for fields to avoid confusion. [2]
If you're still having trouble with the template creation, I'd recommend trying Sculptor (our built-in AI tool in the top-right corner) to help set up your column group template more smoothly.

Can you record a short video showing what you’re doing? From the description, it sounds like that field may be coming from a formula column or a source column output, but a quick recording would help confirm exactly where it’s coming from.
