Getting an error message when I try to do a people search!
Hey hey! Can you drop the URL for your table here? (if applicable) ๐ซถ Don't worry, only admins will be able to open your table ๐
Hey Taylor, sorry for the delay!
Is this still happening for you? If so, could you share what search parameters you're using? I'll test it out too
It's not really...but now my people search is returning like 20% of the volume?
Also is there a reason why not all of my company columns are being populated in a people table?
Hey!! sorry for the late reply. We don't currently have the option to edit a people search after it was imported but did bring that up and team will be checking what can be implemented for that
๐ people searches just take columns - otherwise it'd be nbd to just continue to add as we tweak.
Are you experiencing bugs with scraping at the moment - i noticed a few posts about missing data... my search results are much lower volume than expected
Hmm, not that I can think of... will check but it could be some title variations were missed or some people have visibility restrictions like profiles being labeled as "private"
About the company columns, do you mean the Company Table Data column in your people table doesn't pull all values from your original Company list?
Correct that was the bug --> it seems to have rectified after my most recent refresh? unsure about why it was not showing up. Does it only pull from the default view?
It should actually pull or find all columns from the original table regardless of view. It works like our Lookup Record feature but gets automatically added to your table after the import is completed. However, it's not a live sync, so you need to re-run if you happen to change anything in your original table
Ahh, okay. Misunderstood that part, sorry. If you see that bug again, let me know, I haven't been able to reproduce that behavior.
About the number of people, the tradeoff is that these tools could miss some information here and there, especially if there are privacy restrictions in their profiles, meaning that you need to be logged into an account to see all the data because of the same reason that they (these tools) don't use your active session to find leads. We're continuously working on these tools to improve coverage though!
I don't have the data right now but i think something is broken. I will follow up with before's and after. TLDR: i ran a report but deleted it because the columns weren't carrying through and i got like 120 people Ran it again and got 36, missing about half the companies hard for you to do anything because i obviously can't repro the bug, but feel like something is off right now with the people search.
Got it! will keep an eye out for your update if you can get that and relay the feedback to the team to check for inconsistencies
