Companies in San Francisco: How to Find the Number in Your Location?

Is there a way to see how many companies there are in a certain location (ex. companies in San Francisco)?

    When using the "Find Companies using LinkedIn" to create new tables there is an option to narrow the search to a specific location.

    You can use the "Find Local Businesses using Google Maps" to search specific areas.
