Finding Owners/CEOs of Hotels in Switzerland: Exploring Issues with the Find People Function on Linkedin

Hey, I'm trying to find owners/CEO of hotels in Switzerland. I have a company table with domains and Linkedin URL . I use the "Find People" function from the company's table taking the Linkedin URL to search them! I find the results not really correct. I have found people on Linkedin that Clay didn't find. I'm wondering why.

    One of the reasons might be that some of the LinkedIn profiles are private and Clay can't scrape those. You can send some example profiles to see if that's the reason. If that's the case, you can use Sales Navigator to find the people you're looking for, scrape the results with PhantomBuster and then import them in Clay.

    Ah I see! For example this profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/urs-majer-1187271b/ It does seem to be a private profile! But actually when I input additional job titles, this brings the people preview to 0.

    Hey Augustin! Happy to jump in, but as Stefan accurately pointed out, private profiles are likely to be missed with the queries because we don't use an active session or cookies to scrape.What search parameters are you using here? So I can spot what may be causing this drop-off in results

    Hey Arturo O., I tested the parameters and everytime I enter a parameter, the number of previewed people drop to 0.

    I have an additional question, how can I find more than 200 local businesses when creating a new table please?

    I recreated the search and it's giving me some results. You don't have a whitespace in the second keywords so maybe that's the reason.

    To find more than 200 local business, you need to do multiple tables and then import all of the results into one with "Write To Other Table" or use Apify's Google Map Scraper.
