How to Allow Duplicate Entries in People Search Results

When a people search returns the same people I already have in a people table, it doesn't import them into that table — even if auto-dedupe is turned off and I didn't use an exclusion list in the people search. If I actually want duplicate people to be listed in the people table, how can I change this default behavior?

By default, Clay doesn't create duplicate records when performing a people search. However, you can modify this behavior by adjusting the "Exclude people" setting in your search parameters. When setting up your people search: 1. Look for the "Exclude people" section. 2. If you want to allow duplicates, make sure you don't select any tables in this section. This way, the search will return all matching results, including those that might already exist in your table. Remember to review your search parameters carefully before running the search to ensure you get the desired results.

Hey, If you want to allow duplicates in your people data, here’s a step-by-step workaround that should help: 1. Use “Find Contact at These Companies” Go into the Enrichment Panel and select Find Contact at These Companies directly within your table. 2. Save to the Current Table After setting up the enrichment, hit Save in this table so the results stay in place. 3. Write to Another Table 4. Allow Duplicates in the New Table Make sure Auto-Dedupe is turned off in the new table.
