Hi, i have just tried to run a lookalike search for a list of 400 companies and its used up around 3500 credits?? I was wondering if you still get charged for stopping updates?
When you stop updates, it may take a while for the stop action to take effect, which means some credits might still be used during this period. Different providers have varying policies on charges for unsuccessful queries, and some may charge just for attempting to find a result. To minimize unexpected credit usage, we've turned off auto-update by default. If you're concerned about credit consumption, you can manually control when updates occur by turning auto-update on only when needed. If you've used more credits than intended, remember that we offer credit top-ups at 50% more than your plan's typical cost per credit. For specific details about your credit usage or refund possibilities, you may need to request human assistance for a more personalized review of your account.

it appears that autoupdate was on by default. is there anyone i can speak to about this?
Hi Aran, I can provide a credit refund of up to 2000 credits as that is your monthly budget for this. I believe the reason this might be happening is because you have "auto-update" on. This causes all the rows to be re-run when a new search is executed on the table. In order to remove this, you should select the autoupdate button, as shown below:
After selecting this button, the following menu should pop up:
You should then select "Turn off table" to stop the table from auto-updating. Let me know if this solves your issue and I can proceed with the refund!
Hi Stefano, thanks for pointing this out I will adjust this. Also, when can I expect the 2000 credits to come through?
Hey Aran, jumping in for Stefano. Sorry for the oversight, went ahead and refunded 2k credits. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know! π Have a great Wednesday, Daniel
