Can anyone shed any light on this? Is "Limit per company" in the "Find people" enrichment a minimum? I assumed it would be a limit or maximum, but it seems if its set to 1 I get 3x the "from" amount. If its set to 3 is it only giving a result if there's minimum of 3 people available at the company? Or am I just misinterpreting the result??
Hey hey! Can you drop the URL for your table here? (if applicable) 🫶 Don't worry, only admins will be able to open your table 😉
Jon B. "Limit Per Company" works this way like if you want 1 person per company, you can type 1 in that field, and it will show only 50 people and the number of other people that match your criteria will be shown after the "from". And if you type 2, 3 or more, it will get you all the people from those companies that have 1 person or 2 people or more based on the number you apply because this is the max number that you can limit with this filter and I noticed the number after the "from" isn't accurate in this case, after you import those people, you can see there are more people that the filter was showing, also when you put 2 or more, you might get duplicate profiles as well.
I tried with a limit of 2 and only ended up with 306 profiles, the preview said 2,333 search results 🤷♂️
In my case, the number of imported results was bigger than what the preview said. Seems the "Limit Per Company" filter needs improvement. It's not working properly as it should be.
Yep, may need to revisit/check why it's returning some different numbers but it should be a maximum limit per company, so if a company has 5 people with SDR in the title for example, but your limit is 3, it should only import 3 for that company.
I just checked and looks like a few of those companies have hundreds of employees. The issue here and what we need to fix is that the preview shows the total amount of people that could be imported regardless of the company limit, but it ends up importing the final amount with the limit applied. I sent you a loom about what I saw; will still address with the team though
Yep, for people or companies it would return other data points that weren’t available with the initial search, like education, entire work experience and other fields people may have in their profiles. This would be scraping for those additional values via this provider instead of just querying for people
Yeah, but would it find more people or should it be the same number of search results?
Oh no, that doesn’t work as a search it’s just an enrichment that depends on an input to run. In this case it needs a LinkedIn URL to then return information on that person’s profile. The other one is a people query/search which retrieves matches that fit the criteria you gave it but does not enrich the person’s profile.
