On scoring, I've set up five criteria for the column to look at, but it's only calculating three scoring criteria. Can someone help me understand if I've set this up incorrectly? 🧵
It's possible that only three of your five criteria are being calculated due to how you've set up the scoring model. In Clay, the lead scoring modal typically uses three main criteria: headcount, seniority, and industry. To troubleshoot: 1. Check if you've correctly set up all five criteria in the formula column. 2. Verify that you've selected the right number of scoring criteria in the lead scoring modal. 3. Ensure all necessary data for each criterion is present in your table. If you're still having issues, you might need to adjust your custom formula or use the Formula Generator to incorporate all five criteria. The standard lead scoring model in Clay typically uses three main criteria: headcount, industry, and seniority. If you've set up five criteria, it's possible that the built-in lead scoring modal is only recognizing the default three. To address this: 1. Check if you've correctly set up all five criteria in your formula column. 2. Verify that you've selected the right number of scoring criteria in the lead scoring modal. 3. Ensure all necessary data for each criterion is present in your table. If you need to incorporate more than three criteria, you might need to create a custom formula or use the Formula Generator to include all five. (this is the same table as yesterday's issue)
Hey Willy, Looking at your table, it seems that Auto Update is off. Also, the value inside the momentum score isn’t running because the downstream cells aren’t being updated. Can you try updating the downstream cells and see if that fixes it? Let me know if you need help!
Ok will try that man!
ah right the Auto update was turned off because I was trying to fix the deletion of websites when conducting a look up... that ate up all of our credits, which is why I opened a case earlier.
hey man, is there a chance we can get the credits back from the overwrite error I had earlier before with the Lookup process?
also last question - is there a better way to have a duplicate table that is just a copy of that data in the master table? (one that doesn't run enrichments, just has the data from the master table) Basically I want a master table and then one that is a previous week's results to understand deltas.
also this formula could cause an infinite loop, any idea why our how I could fix it?
Hey Willy, Looks like the credit issue is already resolved — glad that’s sorted. As for the potential infinite loop, it usually comes from a circular reference somewhere in your setup. Try this while recording so we can see: 1. Open the column in question (like the “Score Baseline out of 70”). 2. Check the settings — look at any formulas, inputs, run conditions, or prompts. 3. Trace back where those inputs are coming from. If any of them loop back into the same column or into another column that indirectly points back, it’ll trigger a loop and keep rerunning. If you can, record a quick Loom showing the setup — happy to take a closer look and help you spot the issue.
