Help Needed: Syncing HubSpot Data to Clay Table for Live Updates

·
·

Hey team, could use some help with the hubspot "Import Objects fromm Hubspot" I have an active company list in hubspot that is live, and I have a clay table that has a scheduled pull from that specific list daily. The objects i'm pulling for are reflecting in my hubspot list but they're not reflecting in my clay table pull. Any tips for this? My goal is to have a live list of accounts that when they're added into hubspot, the will push into that live list, then pushed into my clay table for auto enrichment for specific custom fields and updated in one of those layers

To ensure your HubSpot objects are reflecting in your Clay table and being automatically enriched, you'll need to review your import and enrichment settings. Here are some steps to troubleshoot: 1. Check your "Import objects with HubSpot" action settings: • Ensure you've selected the correct HubSpot account and object type (Company). • Verify that you've mapped the relevant fields correctly. 2. Review your auto-update settings: • By default, new rows should automatically update or create objects in HubSpot. • If you want specific conditions for updates, use AI formulas to trigger the action. 3. Consider using the "Lookup Object" action to retrieve associated objects if needed. If issues persist after checking these settings, you may need further assistance. Click on "Talk to a person" to request human support for a more detailed investigation of your specific setup.

Hey Joel, if the native Clay features don't end up working out, lmk. I built a custom Clay <> HubSpot integration to handle this type of more complex workflow. Can also do more complex things like custom property-level overwrite conditions to protect existing data, control Clay spend more efficiently, etc

To ensure your HubSpot objects reflect properly in your Clay table for auto enrichment and updates, follow these best practices: 1. When importing HubSpot data: • Select the correct HubSpot account and object type (Company, Contact, or Deal). • Choose a specific list if needed, or import all data. • Enable "Read-Only Properties" if you lack certain permissions. 2. For auto-updates: • New rows in your Clay table will automatically update or create objects in HubSpot by default. • Use AI formulas for specific update conditions. 3. Ensure data type compatibility between Clay and HubSpot to avoid export errors. 4. Run a small test export to verify correct data mapping. If issues persist after following these steps, request human assistance by clicking "Talk to a person" for a more detailed investigation of your setup.

We don't offer a custom Clay-HubSpot integration for complex workflows. However, our native HubSpot integration supports various actions to handle complex scenarios: 1. Import objects from HubSpot lists or all data 2. Create, update, and lookup objects 3. Create and retrieve associations between objects These features allow for flexible data management and automation. For more advanced needs, you can use Clay's HTTP API and Webhook tables to interact with HubSpot's REST API, enabling custom workflows. Could you describe the specific complex workflow you're trying to implement? This will help me provide more targeted guidance.
