Extracting Nested Array Values for Subsequent API Calls
Clay S. I have one http response, where i have more than one item in array and under each item i have nested array too, how to get the value of each nested item in next API call
To retrieve values from nested arrays in an HTTP response for use in the next API call, you can use the "Field Paths to Return" option in our HTTP API integration. Here's how: 1. In your HTTP API column settings, locate the "Field Paths to Return" field. 2. Use dot notation to specify the paths to the nested items you want to retrieve. For example: "object1.object2.name" for nested objects, or "array1[0].nestedArray[1]" for nested arrays. 3. Separate multiple field paths with commas. This approach allows you to extract specific nested values from complex JSON responses. Hey Rafiq - Do you have a table where this data exists that we can take a look at? Typically what you can do when data is returned is click into a cell, navigate to the right data point and click "Add to Column" but happy to help guide you with some screenshots if you have the actual table.
