Hi Clay S. - question about webhooks sent to Clay. My understanding was that if I sent an array of X items to the webhook endpoint it would expand them out into X individual rows. However, when I inspect the cell in Clay I am seeing a single cell with 3 objects in the array (see screenshot). Is this a bug or is that the expected behavior? Is there anything I can do to indicate that I want the cells split into individual rows?
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hey, thanks for reaching out! 😊 The issue you’re seeing is because the data you’re sending consists of nested objects. This is the expected behavior, but don’t worry—nested objects can still be used without any problems. Check out this Loom video to see how you can work with nested objects. If you’d prefer to have all the data split into individual rows instead, you can use our “Write to Table” feature. Here’s another Loom video showing how to do that. Let me know if you need further assistance! 😊
