Hello Aryan! The additional credits are likely due to the validation providers. If you go to your 'columns' section and show all columns, you will see this validation columns. This is what I am referring to: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1197773036/ff483a157ee9cd6245291b75/CleanShot+2024-09-29+at+20_02_16.gif?expires=1727656200&signature=7bd4cdde1b0e2d4316fc1c297401afc9f61bc131a2289e8a8dbda9fdefabba95&req=dSEuEc55noFcX%2FMW1HO4zTmOzXW4pddLNLE%2FEDxftjv8MrOGfUTObVR%2FAG5s%0Awp%2BP%0A
Thankyou
There are still Cases where I’m being charged some additional credits. Even in the above case I was charged 19 where as if I taking validation into account I should have been charged 18. I have tried and this has happened multiple times now. What other place are my credits going except validation?
I’m asking because I’m gonna be doing HUGE volumes and need proper calculations to make decision of this makes sense or not. Thankyou
in row 27, why did running conditions not meet for zero bounce validation when hunter.io gave a an email? Is it because hunter already give a valid email? table - https://app.clay.com/workspaces/249459/tables/t_ouEedGt93ZHz/views/gv_joaKpgTw7UkG (also, with this test also I was charged 2 extra credits, should've been 17 by adding all the columns but was charged 19))
Hey Aryan! Thanks for reaching out! Regarding the issue with Row 27, the condition wasn’t met because Hunter.io returned an email address that had already been found by Prospero in 'Find Work Email (3)' and was marked as invalid by Zero Bounce. While Hunter.io did return an email, it wasn’t unique to this row, so Zero Bounce didn’t need to run again since the email had already been flagged as invalid. Regarding the additional credits charged during the email waterfall, I recommend reviewing the process in your current setup. First, Findymail searches for an email. If it finds one, it uses 2 credits, and then ZeroBounce verifies it as valid or invalid, which costs an additional credit. If Findymail doesn’t find an email, those 2 credits are refunded, and the next provider is used, repeating the same process. To optimize credit usage, consider placing less expensive email enrichment providers earlier in the workflow. This can help prevent unnecessary charges from more expensive providers if a less costly option can find the correct email. Let me know if this fully answers your question! I'm happy to assist further 😊
