Hi everyone! 👋 I’ve been experimenting with Clay to enrich company profiles and find relevant people, and I’m noticing that the results seem a bit limited—especially when compared to what I typically see using LinkedIn Sales Navigator. I’m curious: what are the actual sources Clay uses to retrieve people once I’ve selected a company? Are there any settings or best practices I might be missing to improve the coverage? Appreciate any guidance or tips. Thanks!
Clay's Find People feature uses our proprietary database that includes LinkedIn profile data plus additional sources. We also access people from Google Maps (local businesses), GitHub (engineering contributors), and any website via our Chrome Extension. To improve coverage, use multiple search criteria: job titles, experience keywords, location, company size, industry filters, and bio keywords. Include past experiences in your search and adjust the results limit (default 100, max 250). For best results, ensure you have company LinkedIn URLs or domains, and layer multiple filters to build targeted prospect lists.
