I've discussed this before but I still can't get the email validation waterfall to work past the second step. Any ideas?
๐ค You've caught us outside of our support hours (9am-9pm EST), but don't worry - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in the thread below so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hi Michael! Do you mind sending the link to the table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1729678500&signature=2a22ccbd6069fc39a3d87b4b582d01a5e31c5635a09448b9e65a2cd3b3bc31de&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywCL6AZ8T2BKsam%2FhVPui2w%3D%3D%0A
It just stops at Validate Emails (3). Want to understand how to make it work
Hey Michael, from what I can see in the conditions for Validate Email (3)... !({{Validate Email (2)}} && {{Validate Email (2)}}?.valid_emails?.[0]?.result) ...that would resolve to: - true (skip enrichment), if the valid_emails?.[0]?.result item is missing/unsuccessful or - false (run enrichment), if the valid_emails?.[0]?.result exists/successful It sounds like you want to do the additional validation steps, regardless of previous success in VE(3)? Do I understand that correctly?
No, I only want them to run if the previous two steps come back with an address less than safe to send.
It doesnt' run even when (2) comes back as not safe to send.
Would love to get this sorted today if possible.
One important note, your current Zerobounce column is not part of the waterfall right now. You'll want to edit the "Validation Waterfall 1" to include it. As for the matching logic, on the far-right of your table, I added a column to test. You can see the prompt there, but the resulting formula is: !{{Validate Email (2)}}?.valid_emails?.[0] && ({{Validate Email (3)}}?.result === "invalid" || {{Validate Email (3)}}?.result === "catchall") You can see that "true" is returned for rows 11, 15, 16, 18, which are the same people where we see invalid/catchalls. Those are examples where you want to continue validation, right? If that formula looks good, go ahead and drop it in your Zerobounce Validate Email column.
Just dropped it into the ZB column, coming back with an error.
Please take a look when you can
Hey Michael - I've recorded a video for you here :) https://cln.sh/PTpjKz63
Hi Bo, I want Zerobounce to run third after the first two have run.
Hey Michael, if you follow Bo's setup instructions shared in his video, Zerobounce will run third :) You just need to add this as the third provider in your waterfall action. Let me know if this makes sense and if you have any other questions!
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
