Im trying to do the upsert mode in google sheets for roughly 4kish rows and its taking an extremely long amount of time. Anything I can do to improve performance?

Google sheet is not an ideal DB, i would recommend checking out seatable or something fast like xano

Hey there Nikko thanks for reaching out, do you happen to have nay other tables or columns running while doing this? Having anything else running in Clay while this is happening can cause latency issues.

No I dont, even tried force stopping everything

Can you post a link to the table where you are seeing this so that we can take a look and see what is going on?

https://app.clay.com/workspaces/157337/tables/t_au645ooz4Hfe/views/gv_Adc54s5XTVEC I did delete the column just now but can recreate if helpful. I tried like 3 different times and even tried splitting the inserts + updates.

Can you try recreating it again, there is some latency to be expected for certain actions if the thousands of row being ran so want o check to see how it is running.

Re added a simplier version that end goal but still showcasing slowness

Feel free to run all rows but only ran first 10

There is a bit of latency going on with the integration will check with the team and see what is going on.

Hey Nikko – Thanks for your patience! 😊 Google API is known for its low rate limit, around 60 requests per minute per project, so this is completely normal. Unfortunately, there’s not much we can do to increase that limit. A great way to work around this is to export the data as a CSV. You can also leave the table open while the process completes, as everything runs in the cloud.
