Hey, this might be a bug. It says importing 223 profiles but then only imports like 60. Also getting a lot of bugs around previewing previous searches and not being able to import people from previous searches.
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Now 'unable to fetch views' Basically finding it impossible to use this function smoothly. Definitely worth taking a look at.
Inputted all the filters again. Only imported 9 people out of 230.
Hey Jaydin! Thanks for reaching out. Sorry about this. Can you share the people search tables you created? We'll run some checks.
Hey, thanks for reaching out! 😊 I noticed that a lot of profiles have been found, and I’ve renamed the sources based on how many were found. Also, there were quite a few duplicates that were deleted, which could explain the differences you’re seeing. Duplicates are automatically removed because auto-dedupe is activated in this table (you can check this by clicking the down arrow next to the table name). But right now seems like all of the leads have been manually deleted. Another typical possible reason for the difference is the limit per company that’s set but it doesn't seems to be the case here. Let me know if you need any further clarification! 😊 https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1175806172/8d77d76c1462a667cbe3a86b/CleanShot+2024-09-11+at+_2708nrkZje%402x.png?expires=1726016400&signature=851adec7e018d1a09e61481e2c0582d88c062bf45ba47867b810a551291c7f2a&req=dSEgE8F%2Bm4BYW%2FMW1HO4zfjkK9pjLsFkmvUlCqXmZc5rGFPi3lfJlefG%2FzT9%0ArUSw%0A
Hey Bo (. Thanks for reaching out. I dont fully understand your response. In the screenshot I showed that over 200 records were meant to be in the table yet there were only 9 records after auto deduping 24 records, which leaves over 150 records unaccounted for. There were no limits on my search as well. What is the reason for this?
Does the find people at company return duplicates?
Why was I unable to import people from a previous search?
Is there a way to delete sources?
If I found a person in one source can they not be found again?
Id really like to fully understand what went on here and how to correctly use this function if I was mistaken?
Hey Jaydin! Sorry for the confusion. Records did get deduped in the table, which is sometimes the case if there were duplicate results in the search or results that were already imported from a previous search in the table. However, it looks like there was a temporary glitch with the results imported from the initial search. I recreated the search in this table and successfully imported all 223 profiles from the initial import: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/10358/tables/t_bHySCze3ni7j/views/gv_jpSjSZHJudzK Feel free to additional searches here and let us know if you still run into any issues. Let me know if this helps.
Thank you, I still was having bugs using the function today but managed to get it to work. I noticed you added a 'method' option so perhaps that was the reason it was faulty. I will keep you updated if I encounter any more bugs.
Thanks for the reply! Sorry about this. Can you share which bugs you encountered today? Also let us know if you see this happen again and we'll escalate to the team.
The main bug today was when I would click the company table it would give an error 'Unable to find table views'
Daniela D. I had another unrelated question for you. When using Clay on my work account (paid) it always loads smoothly and is fairly fast. However when I switch over to my personal Clay account (free) I can barely get into Clay, it just loads and loads when I click login. Often it takes so long that I actually just accept that its not going to open. Is this because its a free account and allocated different broadband? Its something that seriously impairs me at the moment and I dont know what to do about it. Ill send a loom video showing the difference now.

It really makes me upset because this has been an ongoing problem for me for weeks now. I keep on thinking its the account or my internet but its not. What do you suggest I do? Im currently sitting on my laptop and unable to do any work because I cant get Clay to load. You can see in the video that my internet speed works perfectly fine. Bo (. Yash T. Daniela D. Arturo O.
This is on my personal account: https://www.loom.com/share/1591b6365bcd437f90753edc4472117c
Hey, thanks for reaching out! 😊 The issue you’re facing is likely due to switching between two different accounts. Clay isn’t designed to support having two accounts at once, which can cause problems with loading and slowness due to cache and resource conflicts. We don’t throttle accounts based on whether they’re paid or free, so it’s more about how the browser handles switching between accounts. To help with the loading issues, I’d recommend clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. This can free up resources and potentially improve performance. Here’s a quick guide on how to clear the cache for Chrome: 1. Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of Chrome. 2. Go to “More tools” > “Clear browsing data.” 3. Select “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files.” 4. Click “Clear data.” This can help Chrome run more smoothly, especially when you’re switching accounts. If you’re still experiencing issues after clearing the cache, you might also want to try using an incognito window or a different browser when switching accounts. Also, no need to tag everyone next time! The message gets added to a queue and will be seen by the team 😊. Let me know if you need more assistance! I hope this helps! 🌟
Another bug: Keeps on showing 0 companies found for Telecomms in Canada. I found over 150 companies an hour ago so thats not the issue. No limits set or keywords. Question: If youve found companies in another source, will they not show up in a new search in the same table?
Thanks for sending over the search! I’ve successfully created the search using the filters you set up, and everything worked smoothly on my side. As for the caching issue, could you record your screen while showing the “Network” tab and any errors in the console when you’re trying to log in? That will really help us get to the bottom of the issue since I’m not able to reproduce it on my end. Here’s how you can access the Network tab and Console errors in Chrome: 1. Open Developer Tools: • On your keyboard, press Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows) or Cmd + Option + I (Mac), or right-click on the page and select Inspect. 2. Go to the Network Tab: • Once Developer Tools is open, you’ll see different tabs like Elements, Console, etc. Click on the Network tab. • Make sure the page is refreshed while this tab is open so that it captures all the network activity. 3. Go to the Console Tab: • Click on the Console tab (next to Network). This will show you any errors or warnings that appear as you try to log in. 4. Record the Issue: • To record your screen, you can use tools like Loom, OBS, or Chrome’s built-in screen recorder by pressing Windows + G or Cmd + Shift + 5 (on Mac). • Make sure to capture both the Network and Console tabs while reproducing the issue. Let me know if you need any assistance with this! 😊
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
