Importing CSV Data with Semicolons into a Single Column: How to Fix It

hello, I am trying to import data where one field has semi-colons. when I try importing, both as a new table and adding to an existing table, the data with the semicolons gets split up across multiple columns. I assume this is due to the CSV format of the import. can anyone help here ? I would like the data with the semicolons to be imported into one column only

    To import data with semicolons into Clay without splitting fields, you can use the CSV import feature and adjust the column mapping during the import process. Here's how: 1. Navigate to your Clay workspace and click "Actions" > "Import" > "Import Companies From a CSV". 2. Upload your CSV file by clicking "Browse Files" or dragging and dropping it into the upload area. 3. During the column mapping step, you can define how the columns in your CSV should align with the columns in the Clay table. This is where you can ensure that fields containing semicolons are imported into a single column. 4. Map the column containing semicolons to a single field in Clay, ensuring it's not split across multiple columns. 5. Complete the import process by clicking "Add to table" or "Complete import", depending on whether you're adding to an existing table or creating a new one. By carefully mapping your columns during the import process, you can maintain the integrity of fields containing semicolons and import them into a single column in Clay.
