Creating Custom Email Introductions Using GPT and Company Website: Best Practices

·
·

I’m trying to create a personalized first-line for emails using gpt and the company website. I’m finding that it’s not returning accurate results, sometimes making up things. Any advice on how I should approach this? I thought maybe I can use Claygent to get a website description and then use that for my gpt input?

Hey Sary - the Use AI integration doesn’t have access to the internet - it’s using GPT-4 directly. If you use the enrichment called Claygent though it can perform this search and find the info!

If you add Claygent then paste the prompt you’re using into there it should work! One thing that may improve results even more though: Use Claygent to first find out what the company does and what they sell. Then use the Use AI integration to take that summary as an input and complete your sentence

For Claygent you have to add the samples directly into the prompt - slightly different from the Use AI experience

Claygent is more often used for just research though

So if the outputs are mid, i’d try the Claygent + AI approach
