Yes, you can identify unique companies from a list of people. The best way to do this is to use the Find Contacts search option in the enrichment tab and save the results into the company table. This will automatically organize and group the contacts by their respective companies, making it easy to see how many unique companies are represented. When you import people data this way, the information is connected to their companies, allowing you to efficiently track and analyze company-level data without duplicate enrichments. Use lookup multiple rows enrichment and do a lookup on the company domain in the same table. It will give you how many times a company is appearing in the same table

You can use the Lookup Multiple Rows integration to count how many times a company appears in your table. Here's how:1. Add the Lookup Multiple Rows integration to your table 2. Select the company domain (or other identifying value like company name or LinkedIn URL) as the column to scan 3. Configure it to look within the same table 4. The integration will count how many cells exist with matching values, showing you the number of times each company appearsThis method allows you to track the frequency of companies within your dataset.

Here's the recommended process for high-level company qualification:1. Start with your initial profile data 2. Follow this enrichment waterfall: ā€¢ Use reverse waterfall enrichment on emails to find LinkedIn profile URLs ā€¢ Use Claygent to scrape and find missing profile URLs ā€¢ Enrich personal data using the LinkedIn URLs ā€¢ Extract company domains from the LinkedIn profiles ā€¢ Use company enrichment to gather industry information ā€¢ If needed, use Claygent again to find any missing company domains based on company names ā€¢ Use the final domain list to enrich headcount information Source: Lead Scoring [Automated Inbound] - Clay University

you can also just click on the de-dupe option in the company domain column to see the number of duplicates and subtract that from the total rows to get an idea of unique companies

To find the number of duplicates and unique companies using the de-dupe option:1. Click on the company domain column header 2. Select "Dedupe" from the dropdown menu 3. Review the duplicate values shown in the confirmation dialog 4. Count the number of duplicates shownImportant notes:** Deduplication is case-sensitive ("clay.com" and "Clay.com" are treated as different) ** Extra whitespace is considered in matching * Blank cells and values over 200 characters are excluded from deduplicationTo calculate unique companies:Total unique companies = Total rows - Number of duplicates Sources: Configuring your table settings | Documentation | Clay University Table columns overview | Documentation | Clay University

Hi Ravi, thanks for reaching out! Thanks Muhammad and Kushagra for jumping in! I'd recommend following Kushagra's approach and using the de-dupe option on the company domain column. You can see how many duplicates there are, and subtract the number of duplicates from the total number of rows to find the number of unique companies! Feel free to give this a try and let us know if it works for you
