are folks having success at getting rid of junk results? thinking about scraping linkedin profiles associated with the domain url, just to see if the domain/company is genuine and actual people work for the company
Hey Chris, hopefully, some share their approach for this. Of course, since there are no special indicators that LinkedIn has that would show if the company is genuine, it often requires applying other enrichments to further filter the list. The team is continuously working to remove records that no longer get updated or if their LI profile is no longer active, a few could still come up if they're very recent but will improve over time.
I'd say most people use the company's domain to search for other data points they may need to filter companies out, for example, revenue, tech stacks, company news, and so on. Then they would filter those that match the criteria they're looking for and only target those companies. So it does vary on and depend on your campaign needs.
