When using "Send Data to Table", do you have to pre-arrange the columns in that table, or can you have a blank table and the Enrichment will take care of it
You can use both approaches. When sending data to a table, you can either:
• Send to existing table: Map your columns to pre-arranged columns in the destination table [1]
• Create new table: The enrichment will automatically create columns based on the data you're sending [2]
During setup, you'll map out which columns from your source table should align with columns in the destination table. If it's a new table, Clay creates the structure automatically based on your mappings [3].
You can also add new columns to any existing table using the "Add column" option if needed [4].
If you need any more help with sending data to tables or setting up your columns, please let me know. Would you like to provide more details about what you're trying to achieve so I can assist further?
The "Send table data (Enrichment · Clay Labs)" option is correct for your use case. [1]
The "Export" version is the legacy "Write to Other Table" enrichment that's being deprecated. The new "Send table data" action (Clay Labs version) is accessed through Actions → Send table data and handles column creation automatically when sending to new tables.
If you still need help with choosing or using the correct "Send Table Data" enrichment, I’m here to assist. Would you like to share more about what you’re trying to accomplish with this feature?
