I'm trying to bring the relevant company size from a company table to a people table but I'm not having any luck. Background
Created a table of companies inc. their size (screenshot 1)
Created a table of relevant people from the companies above (screenshot 2)
I want to bring the company sizes from the original table into the people table, in the same way as the company is listed.
You can bring company sizes from your company table to your people table using the "Lookup Single Row in Other Table" feature. Here's how: 1. Look for the column in your people table that has the Clay logo and shows the corresponding company for each person (this is automatically linked). 2. Click on any cell in this company lookup column to access and extract specific variables (like company size) from your companies table into your people table. If you add new company data later: ** Simply rerun the lookup in your people table ** This will pull in the updated company data, including size information * Your datasets will remain integrated with both individual and company information

I can see how that functionality works, but the size field doesn't work correctly. Every instance has a size of 1, an option ID of 1 and a different UUID. I want 201-500 employees, 51-200 employees etc to show
To correctly display company sizes in your people table: 1. Click on any cell in the company lookup column (the one with the Clay logo showing corresponding companies) 2. When the cell options appear, look for the company size variable from your companies table 3. Select "Add as column" to bring in the actual company size values This works because your companies and people tables are automatically linked within the same workbook. The "Lookup Single Row in Other Table" feature will pull in the exact company size values as they appear in your companies table.

Hi Kane! Let's fix this. Change the "select" type to "text"
and refresh your lookup - this will allow the company sizes to come through correctly.
Let me know if you need help updating the field type!
Thanks so much!!
