Best Methods to Segment Salesforce Data by Company Stage

I have a large table (~17,000 records) synced from a Salesforce report. Since I made this table, I've been asked to segment it by company stage (prospect or customer). What do you recommend is the best way to do this? 1) split the original Salesforce report into two (one for prospects and another for customers, and import them both)? 2) duplicate the table in Clay, and remove the customers from one and the prospects from the other? (note: I duplicated a table, but it only duplicated the column headers, not the rows. Is that how duplication works in Clay?) 3) another way?
