Find people from Company: Hi I have included keywords like: Chief information officer and provided the domain name - Clay returned no people records but there is a LinkedIn profile with this title.
๐ Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hi Shwetha, thanks for reaching out! There are a few reasons why this profile may not be showing up. Results from the people search typically get impacted by the following instances: 1. Inputting semantic search parameter instead of syntactic search: A limited set of job title keywords are applied to the role being targeted. Our search algorithms are based on syntactic search which means you must put every variation of the keywords you're looking for (ie CIO and Chief Information Officer). When this happens, some matching profiles may be missed because they were not included in the search query. โ โ2. Mapping the wrong inputs in the people filters. For example, not mapping LinkedIn urls from the company table to run the search. โ 3. Search limits applied to the people search. This reduces the number of records that can be imported from a search. โ 4. Private profiles: Our data providers use a multitude of ways to access people and company data. For the most part though, we don't use your cookie/login data. This means that we could miss some information here and there, especially if there are privacy restrictions in place for certain profiles. This would mean that your logged in profile has access to it, but our data providers may not. Can you share a people table url that currently has this issue? Happy to make updates & suggestions for your workflow where needed.โจ
Thanks Tanvi - this is the company table. Row 13 PCL Constructions has a Chief information officer and is a keyword I had added to the find people filters but didnt return any results
Similar issue with the Blue cross company - this person should have been found: coz I had added senior business intelligence to the keywords list (row 15)
following filters applied (so you can match it to the correct row numbers that I have highlighted)
Hey, thanks for reaching out https://cln.sh/ccFHQKzt example: data, analytics, governance, engineering, architect, intelligence, management, operations, transformation, enterprise, information, officer, director, chief, VP, head, manager, senior, lead.
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
Hi Shwetha R.! This thread was recently closed by our Support team. If you have a moment, please share your feedback:
thanks Bo - would you recommend using the seniority filters? I noticed when I used those - it does not return titles with Senior / principal etc
also for this company I expected https://www.linkedin.com/in/nanditha-manilal-74574389/ to show up because my keyword had data engineer but it isnt appearing
is there a privacy concern with this profile?
another example: I only put in analyst, and I didnt get back a couple of data analyst profiles. https://www.linkedin.com/in/krishnambuch/ I also added data engineer - and I got back 0 profiles although there are folks in Lucy Electric with this job title! pls help lol ๐
Another really important profiles which we are missing company https://www.linkedin.com/in/george-day-b53960222/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/zo%C3%AB-p-820414168/
zoominfo returns it
Hi Shwetha, thanks for reaching out. As for your first question on how to filter by seniority, I recommend using this section, and adding as many variations of the same job titles as possible: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1182925092/2671c5332517ca5beaf43a0d/CleanShot+2024-09-17+at+10_53_33%402x.png?expires=1726587000&signature=9c878e7d6c25becf2da83d5de064ca79c4feefb0fa337e1ca3a7aaa86ccebd98&req=dSEvFMB8mIFWW%2FMW1HO4zRZxF627ynI%2BZS6MSMLNiKzr7%2B3rmY8IT6BYmqM5%0AcJ91%0A E.g. if you're looking for VPs, I would also search for "Vice President" As for your second question - this may indeed be a privacy setting issue - our providers can only search for accounts which are not set to private on LinkedIn, so this is likely what's causing the issue here.
Thanks for this Bo! ๐ Request to add more categories to the Seniority section - Like Senior, Principal, Lead etc
