Does the Sales Nav URL import not work with a saved account list? In a test I have 6 profiles and Clay imported 4000+, the job title is correct most of times but with people from accounts thay are not present in the list. When I copy and paste the same URL into Prospeo it does see only the 6 profiles. Thank you in advance for the support. This is important to enrich named accounts.
The Sales Navigator import in Clay can retrieve up to 2,500 results per URL, which explains why you're seeing 4000+ profiles instead of just 6. This is likely because the URL you're using is for a broader search rather than your specific saved account list. To ensure you only import the correct profiles: 1. Use the exact URL of your saved account list in Sales Navigator. 2. If the issue persists, try splitting your list into smaller segments. Hey there Michaël thanks for reaching out, to confirm here that is correct saved list cannot be used with the Sales Nav feature inside of Clay. You will need to recreate the search in Sales Nav and then copy the link from that search into Clay.
Hi LuisArturo thank you for your reply. So that means instead of using an uploaded list I will need to add "current company" in Sales Nav manually even if there are 300 or 500 companies?
Hey, Right—since Clay isn’t directly connected to your Sales Navigator account, it can’t access the exact filters or saved lists, which is why you’re seeing results beyond the 6 profiles. If you need to pull directly from your saved account lists, tools like PhantomBuster, Apify, or Vayne.io can scrape that data while staying connected to your Sales Nav session. Otherwise, you can recreate the search directly in Clay using Find Companies and then Find People, which works without needing a Sales Nav connection. Let me know what works best for you!
Hi Bo (. thank you for your extensive reply! I started my listed building based on the named accounts with the Clay Company and People search. Where does these 2 approaches get their data from? It feels like I find more relevant people with Sales Nav and Apollo when comparing
Hey, Clay receive data from a mix of different providers. Curious to hear more about what felt more relevant on your end — happy to help you fine-tune the setup, and any feedback is really appreciated!
I have multiple examples. To name 1 with numbers when checking one company for finance contact: Clay 10 people, Sales Nav 38 If you would like to see this while sharing my screen let me know!
Hey, The best way to flag missing data is to right-click on the row and select “Leave Feedback”—that helps our team improve coverage. In the meantime, you can also use a workaround to bring in additional contacts, like the one we mentioned earlier, to help fill the gaps in Clay.
