I was trying to import results in an existing table by adding google search results, based on the following keywords: https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Alinkedin.com%2Fcompany+audiovisual+production[…]4zuAEDyAEA-AEBmAIAoAIAmAMAiAYBkgcAoAeHAQ&sclient=gws-wiz-serp but it looks terrible and did not work. See attached
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hey, thanks for reaching out! Before I can help you, could you send me the table URL? We need the URL that's in the address bar at the top, where you type in the website you want to visit. Thanks! 💪
Hey Andrea, Just to confirm, could you explain what exactly you’re trying to do? Are you looking to search for certain information about companies on Google? If so, which kind of information are you hoping to find? It looks like your Google search is formatted like this: site:linkedin.com/company audiovisual production. I’m guessing you’re trying to find mentions of audiovisual production for specific companies. If that’s the case, this would be achieved by adding an enrichment, not a source. For example, you can use the Google Search enrichment. You can find this by going to the Enrichment panel and clicking the “Add Enrichment” button at the top right of the page. Let me know if this helps or if you need more guidance! 😊
I am trying to find companies operating in audiovisual production
as a source
I was just following the example given in the instruction video
Ah, gotcha! 😊 Why not use our “Find Companies” feature, like you already did? It’s free and would give you more results. But yes, if you decide to add that as a source to an existing table with an already existing source, the data will show up together, and you’ll need to format the data to fit the columns. You can do this by going into the settings of each column and then adding the results from the Google sources by using the forward slash ( / ) to link the data. Let me know if you need any more guidance on this! 😊
Because I was experimenting based on your guidance
There is nothing there though
Just two rows with something on the second column.
Nothing more
Can I add key decision makers in the same table when doing enrichment, instead of creating a new one?
What if I find more than one key decision maker per company
will I get double or triple semi duplicate rows?
Not sure if I am explaining myself
It’s possible to add this to a new table, but ideally, you wouldn’t want to do that since you’ll have multiple people involved. It’s better to create a new table and then use a lookup to reference the data you need. If you were to run it and keep everything in the same table, you’d end up with rows containing multiple values, which can make it difficult to reference. By having each value in its own row in a new table, it keeps things more organized and easier to manage.
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
