Auto-update automatically runs all columns whenever rows are added or edited, keeping your table current. It allows Clay to enrich any new rows added to your table automatically, which is helpful for fully automated workflows.
How it works:
** When enabled, your table will automatically process any new data coming in
** You can control auto-update at both table and column levels
** If auto-update is disabled for the table, it overrides any column-level settings
To manage auto-update:Table level:
1. Click the table name to access settings
2. Select "Enable/Disable auto-update"
Column level:
1. Click column name → "Edit columns"
2. Toggle auto-update under "Run settings"
3. Click "Save"
*Best practice: Turn off auto-update while building your table to avoid unnecessary credit usage, then enable it when ready to launch.
