How to Prevent Credit Usage in New Workbooks for Company Identification

Hi team, if I have a workbook that used credits to find companies that meet a criteria, and then I create a new workbook, how do I keep the new workbook from using credits to identify companies/contacts that were identified in the first workbook?

Hey, thanks for reaching out Dawson! To prevent using credits on companies or contacts already identified in a previous workbook, you can use a Clay lookup to check if the data exists in another table. Here’s how to do it: 1. Lookup Existing Data: Use the lookup feature to check if the company/contact already exists in the first workbook. Here’s a Loom tutorial on how to do this. 2. Use AI Formulas: Apply a formula to skip running enrichments on rows that have a match. More details on using formulas can be found here. 3. Avoid Duplicate Runs: You can also use a method to prevent duplicates from being processed. Check out this Loom video for a step-by-step guide. Let me know if you need any further help! 😊
