I am currently on a trial of Clay and don't see anyway to use my own LinkedIn API key - is this only available on paid accounts?
nvm, appears i need to be on a paid account... updated question, can I use an API key for all data sources? Is there a list somewhere that shows data sources that are free to enrich in clay via API vs. ones that arent?
Hey Nate, thanks for reaching out!
Sorry about the confusion there, but our LI enrichments don't actually use your active session or cookies, so that's why there's no direct way to connect your LI account.
And yes, you can use your own API key for any data sources you have an account with. We also have the option so you can connect to any tool out there that we don't currently have an integration for via HTTP API.Not exactly a detailed list but if you navigate your workspace settings section and click on the data sources, it should let you know if they have the option or not.
Also, if you see a green credits icon next to it, that means it will deduct credits per result or call to each provider when using Clay's account/API.
Thanks, Arturo - just to confirm, anytime I want to enrich data on Clay with LinkedIn data it will require a Clay credit?
Great question, Nate! Yes, enriching with the LI integrations would cost Clay credits. However, sources like Find Companies, Find Jobs and Find People from LinkedIn that help you start a list/table won't cost you any credits, only until you further enrich them.
Got it, thanks
It appears I can use my OpenAI API to complete any task on Clay? ie I don't have to use Clay tokens to execute tasks related to AI ?
